Aden turns 7!

OUr baby is 7. He wanted boys rule and Ole miss drooles, but it wouldn't fit on the cake.

Trip to the USS ALABAMA- December 2008

Aden wanted to go d own to Mobile and see the battleship for his birthday. Thankfully the weather cooperated for the day. It was in the 70's.

It was a father son night at church where the guest speakers were Tyson Lee and Greg ?(MSU pitcher). Aden loved it.

Bert and I went to an 80's costume party. It was fun to see the old ugly fashions. Bert was Beetlejuice and I was Vanna White.

Soccer Begins again!

A new soccer season has started. Both kids are excited to be playing.

Camp Seminole

We took the kids on the boy scout weekend. This was thier first time camping in a tent. They did great. We went to sleep with hoot owls and coyotes. Yikes!

Boy Scout Campout

We went to Camp Seminole outside Starkville for a overnight campout. We had a lot of fun, got very dirty, and experienced the rustic life.

Plant cells project

Savannah is making a 3d plant cell for Science.

Aden's First Tiger Scout Meeting

Aden went to his first scout meeting. He looked so handsome. He had so much fun!! He is looking forward to shooting, camping, and archery.

Babysitting!

We babysit for the first time last Friday night. We had a good time. Aden read Zach a book and Savannah got to feed him.

Zachary Payne Thomas Arrives!

We had an exciting weekend. I went away for a girls trip and got a call as soon as I walked into the hotel that my sister-in-law, Beth, had gone into labor. She held out till I got home on Sunday. Zach was born at 5:04pm August 17th. I got a couple of shots of Jon holding him in the nursery.

Back to school!

Savannah will be in 6th grade and Aden will be in 1st. Five years and my baby will be driving. Scary!!!!

Snorkling with stingrays and bull sharks

We went snorkling with all kinds of beautiful fish along a coral reef, then got to get up close to some bull sharks using a cage.

Playa Del Carmen Mexico-

We spent 6 days in Mexico with the kids. We had a blast. There was plenty to keep us occupied the whole time.

Leaving for our Mexico Trip

This was the first time on an airplane for both of the kids. They loved it and enjoyed the experience. The only thing they didn't like was the ear popping.

Destin

The kids and I spent a week in Destin with my best friend and her two children.
